Very proud to present my very good friend Akos and his video for Flower Of My Dreams. We filmed this in two shots on a beautiful Canon 1DX MK2. Enjoy!
We worked with Woodbury studios recently to produce the video for the single ‘I Feel Better When’.
Please have a read below for more information on Rethink Your Mind…
The rethinkyourmind project message is #IFeelBetterWhen so we created this music single to give everyone the chance to feel better! Watch the video of the song above recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios.
Being creative plays a big part in this, so we encourage people to express and share their #IFeelBetterWhen to inspire & uplift themselves & others.
Downloading the single on 1st December, will help us spread this message and provide comfort and hope to thousands more people across the country.
#IFeelBetterWhen Single Feat:
All these people came together because creativity supports their wellbeing & they believe in the rethinkyourmind resource: ‘The Yellow Book’.
This bright Yellow Book that says ‘I am free, please take me’ has provided comfort and hope to tens of thousands of people across the country already and with your help it can reach more and more!
The book was borne out of Project Creator: Pete Hirst’s own experiences of mental health challenges, his time spent on Mental Health Hospital wards & the impact this had on his family & friends.
Pete and partner Claire Evans, mindfulness practitioner & owner of The Centre of Wellbeing set up Develop Insite CIC in 2014 to sustain the project. In addition to the national Yellow Book, organisations can also use it as a personalised resource, we are proud to have created:
Now, with your help, let’s show the world that feeling better through creativity is an empowering route to being well – let’s shift the focus to wellbeing!

Mary Epworth will release her new album, Elytral, on September 1 via Sunday Best. For this one she headed Los Angeles to collaborate with producer Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Au Revoir Simone). The first single, âMe Swimming,â finds Epworth in darker waters, blippier, proggier and more unique than anything on her 2012 debut album. Weâve got the premiere of its video, directed by Ben Sommers and starring British actor Robert Lloyd Parry, who is known for portraying writer M. R. James, the master of the English ghost story, in one man shows. Says Mary:
For a song that is and isnât about me swimming, I set myself the challenge of making a video that definitely didnât feature me swimming! I focused on the insistent rhythmic nature of the track, and that set me off on a path that led somewhere rather unexpected . . .
I never expected the video to take on quite such an epic scale, and I love how filmic and widescreen the final cut is. Ben Sommers really knows how to frame a scene, and what weâve ended up with really feels like a mini-movie.
Initially I imagined myself in the lead role, but once I had the idea of Robert Lloyd Parry taking that part, I couldnât stop picturing it. This video features so many of my favourite things â beasts, landscape, Robert Lloyd Parryâs impeccable acting, and blackly comic pastoral horror.
Adds director Ben Sommers, âWe began developing this video back in January and I feel so lucky to have worked on it, watching the ideas develop through to what you see here in the final edit. Nothing in my working history comes close to the pure joy (and the fear!) of spending a day with Robert Lloyd Parry â the man is a genius!â Watch the video below.

We’ve been working with Woodbury Studios again to produce this live session for Paul Clarvis and Liam Noble.
Paul Clarvis is an English percussionist,[1] born in Enfield, London, on 9 April 1963.
Paul brings his unique style of musicianship to many genres and as one of the most requested session musicians. Paul was the late Leonard Bernstein’s preferred percussionist in London and featured as a soloist on the last night of the Proms in 1996 in a concerto for saxophone and drum kit by Sir Harrison Birtwhistle. In 1998 he was chairman of the Percussion judges for the BBC Young Musician of the Year and together with Sonia Slany he started Villagelife Records.
Paul also helped Rick Smith with the drum arrangement for the London Olympics 2012 opening, writing Dame Evelyn Glennie’s part and together with Rick, devised how to train the 1000 drummers that stole the show on that opening ceremony!
The list of people Paul has worked with is a veritable ‘who’s who’ in the music world – from Mick Jagger, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Steve Swallow, Sir Harrison Birtwhistle, Sir John Dankworth to Sir Paul McCartney, John Taylor and Moondog, Gordon Beck, Bryan Ferry and Elton John. He has recorded with Marc Ribot, Sam Rivers, Richard Thompson, The Orb, John Adams, Michael Nyman, Loreena McKennitt, Mark Anthony Turnage and Michel Legrand as well as his own band Orquestra Mahatma.
He regularly holds gigs with Mose Allison and has also played with Nina Simone, Herbie Hancock and Ravi Shankar.
Paul’s playing can be heard on literally hundreds of films including Star Wars, all the Harry Potter films, all the Narnia films, all the Twilight films, the Dark Knight, the Constant Gardner, The Bourne Ultimatum, Burn After Reading, Shakespeare in Love, Fantastic Mr Fox, Billy Elliot, James Bond, Robin Hood, G.I Jane, Notting Hill, Tron, The Mummy, The Golden Compass, Bee Movie, Troy, State of Play, The Road, The Last King of Scotland, Spy Game, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, The Escapist, Captain America, Shrek, Hugo Cabret, Kung Fu Panda, and the Lord of the Rings, Prometheus, the Hobbit, Skyfall, Spectre, The Great Gatsby, to name just a few!
Paul had also worked on; Quills (band member: The Quills Specialist Band), The Cell (first percussion), The Miracle Maker (ethnic percussion), The Next Best Thing (percussion), The Darkest Light (percussion), Beautiful People (percussion), East Is East (drums and percussion), Heart (percussion), Beloved (featured musician), The Mighty (percussion), My Son the Fanatic (musician) and many more.
Hands down, our favourite songwriter. Always such a pleasure to work with Russell.
