We worked with Let’s Eat Grandma and Transgressive for their London show at Oval Space, East London (1st November 2016) to produce a 20 minute video projection sequence to accompany the evening. Here’s a brief section of it below.
This follows our third video for them and their single ‘Sax In The City’ which was recently released.
40 Watt Sun’s music takes the listener through many different spaces, the songwriting both powerful and intimate. There is a subtlety at play, defined by delicate guitar lines and introspective lyrical themes, underpinned by thoughtful flourishes of bass and held by the ebb and flow of drums. We were back at Abbey Road to master the new album by Mauro Dirago today.
Mauro has received high praise for his writing and producing fantastic pop songs from high profile people in the music industry.. including Radio & TV legend BOB HARRIS! He has recently immortalised Bob in song as part of the Whistle Test man’s 40th anniversary celebrations – his “Hey Bob” is featured on Mauro’s forthcoming album called ‘REWIND’ a heart felt tribute to the broadcasting legend!
MAURO is also currently working with DON REEDMAN the producer behind such massive sellers as TOM JONES’ “Reload”; HOOKED ON CLASSICS’ MICHAEL CRAWFORD ‘and the hugely successful CHILLOUT ALBUM series – Mauro contributing to the recent collection with a song by Paul McCartney / NITIN SAWHNEY . called MY SOUL -the album was a Top 3 chart success!!

We were invited by Il Volo to follow them for the day on the first time playing the UK at the world famous London Palladium.
Il Volo (pronounced [il ˈvoːlo]; are an Italian operatic trio, consisting of singers: the baritone Gianluca Ginoble, and two tenors, Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto. They describe their music as “popera”. Having won the Sanremo Music Festival 2015, they represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria. They reached third place, but managed to secure a solid first-place victory in the televoting.

We were back working at Abbey Road Studios again today, filming for charity single ‘Hey Charlie’, raising money and awareness for Batten Disease (www.bdfa-uk.org.uk).
We spent a week at Glastonbury Festival filming Uncle Funk and The Boogie Wonderband headline the Sensation Seekers stage three nights of the festival!
